The Constitution Party 2020 National Convention will take place at the Hilton Union Station Hotel in downtown St. Louis, Missouri from April 29th-May 2nd, 2020. Union Station is an historic landmark and fantastic venue! It is a perfect setting for this event!

1. What, exactly, is the National Nominating Convention?

Once every 4 years, the membership of the Constitution Party comes together to fellowship, conduct Party business, select the Party’s United States Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates, review/modifiy the Party Platform, and encourage each other in a like-minded environment with speakers and presentations.

After the conclusion of the Convention, the National Committee, made up of National Committee Members from each state, holds the National Party elections for Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Regional Chairmen.

2. When and Where is the 2020 National Nominating Convention being held?

Wednesday, April 29 – May 2, 2020 at the Hilton Union Station Hotel in downtown St. Louis,Missouri.

3. Who can attend the National Nominating Convention?

Anyone can attend the convention.
There are two types of attendees:

Delegates: People who, according to the By-laws of their state, are selected as representatives to serve on one or more convention committees and to vote on the business brought forth at the convention.

Non-Delegates (Guests): People who attend the convention but have no voting or committee responsibilities. While they cannot serve on the committees, they may attend the committee meetings.

The Registration Fee is the same for both types of attendees.

6. How much does it cost to register for the Convention?
    • Prior to March 15th the price is $300/person *EARLY BIRD PRICE*
    • After March 15th the price is $325/person
    • After April 1st the price goes to $350/person
    • Student price (age 13 through high school) is $280/person**
      **Children must have have a meal ticket to be allowed in the meal areas
    • **2020 National Committee dues must be paid prior to the National Committee Meeting on Saturday

7. What meals are covered by the Registration Fee?

In order to keep registration fees low, Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner are the only meals covered by the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for all other meals.

8. Are there restaurants around the hotel?

Yes. There are a number of reasonable restaurant options both in, and very close to, the hotel.

9. What hotel room options are available and what will they cost?

The room rate of $147.00 plus tax = $174.83/night.
This rate is good for 2 days before – 2 days after the convention.

Up to three people per room.
If you share with another person it is $85.26 a night each. Or for 3 people it would only be $56.84 a night each.

IMPORTANT: Our room count commitment enables us to get our meeting space for free. Otherwise, the meeting space would be extremely expensive! In order for your room to count toward our contract agreement, you must use the CP rate of $147.00. If you use any other rate when making your reservation, (e.g. Using Hilton Points or discounted online pricing) your room will NOT count toward our required numbers.

11. Guest Arrival and Departure

Hotel check-in is 4:00 pm. If rooms are ready, they will check you in earlier. If not, they will store
your luggage

A Noon check out on Saturday and Sunday will be honored.
Carpooling to St. Lois or from the airport is highly recommended.

There is no airport shuttle. But, here is information from the internet to help you with getting to and from the airport.

MetroLink/Train – 30 min, $3
Taxi – 19 min $35-$50 
Town Car – 19 min, $130-$190 (from Google)
Uber – 19 min, $28-$32 (estimate)

If you are driving in:

Overnight self-parking – $18 per day (discounted)
Overnight valet-parking – $30
Event only self-parking – $12

12. What is the State Delegation Fee?

To seat a delegation from your state, the state must pay a $100 state delegation fee. This allows the delegates from that state to participate as delegates. If the fee is not paid, the delegation has no vote.

14. When during the convention is the CP Presidential Candidate Debate? Is it included in my registration?

Yes, it is included and will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 8:00 pm which is prior to the opening of the convention ($10 for those not registered for the convention)

15. Will there be WIFI in the hotel room? Will there be WIFI in the meeting space?

There will be complimentary WIFI in the hotel rooms

If you want WIFI in the meeting space, it will cost $12 a day
