What follows is the first article for our new online feature, From the Hearts and Pens of Our Members. Our members are passionate and informed constitutionalists, who love liberty. We offer them this forum for the sharing of ideas and thoughts to encourage others to join us in our fight to preserve liberty. Our first contributor, Michelle Hohmeier, is a patriot, who puts action to her words. Michelle and her husband, Bob lead the Arnold group in Jefferson County. Last year, Michelle came within 11 votes of unseating her incumbent opponent for a City Council seat in Arnold, Missouri. We appreciate the work and faithfulness of the Hohmeiers to the cause of liberty, and we believe, you will be inspired by Michelle’s heartfelt love and passion for liberty and our nation. Imperfect People vs. The Rule of Law

Posted on Jun 20, 2011 | 0 comments

Congressman Anthony Weiner, D-New York has received a lot of publicity lately. He twisted and squirmed like a worm in the sun attempting to rationalize his behavior. Our private lives are indicators of what our behavior and attitudes will be in public life....

The IMF’s stated purposes are as follows: To promote exchange rate stability; To facilitate and manage the growth and balance of international trade; To provide resources to member countries experiencing balance of payments problems; To help maintain a multilateral system of payments; And finally, to promote international monetary cooperation. Despite its stated purposes, many people believe that the real purpose of the IMF is to bring poorer, less-industrialized countries into the orbit of global government and multinational corporations. According to John Perkins in his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, third world countries have been...

Americans Get It!

Posted on May 11, 2011 | 1 comment

Despite what our elected officials may claim, Americans understand our National Debt is a serious problem and they want it fixed NOW. In a May 3rd Reason-Rupe poll, the respected polling firm found an astounding 96% of Americans say it is “important” to reduce the National Debt with an equally astounding 69% saying it is “very important” to reduce the National Debt. Contrary to Washington D.C.’s best efforts to fool us, the American people get it. The Federal government cannot borrow and spend as if there are no limits. The survey also found 74% of respondents support a “spending cap” that would prohibit the Federal government from spending more money than it takes in during a fiscal year. The American people intuitively understand they can’t consistently spend more money each month than they earn and they expect their government,...
